Who we are

Answlane provides done-for-you security questionnaire drafting for B2B SaaS companies (primarily US and UK). This notice covers the public site hosted at answlane.pages.dev and forms that submit to our contact inbox.

What we collect via this site

When you use the founding application or contact form, we receive the fields you choose to send—typically name, work email, company, role, market, questionnaire volume, and free-text notes. Forms are delivered through FormSubmit to our operations inbox. We do not embed payment card fields, bank account fields, or IBAN collection on this public site.

Why we use it

• To review founding applications and respond to inquiries
• To schedule follow-up conversations about fit and scope
• To keep a record of correspondence related to your request

What we do not do on this site

• We do not sell your form data
• We do not collect payment on public forms
• We do not use form submissions for unrelated marketing lists without a clear opt-in context

Client materials (after engagement)

If we work together under a retainer, policies, SOC 2 materials, and questionnaire files are handled under that engagement’s confidentiality terms—not under this short public-site notice alone. Ask for the current engagement terms before sharing sensitive documents.

Processors

Website hosting may be provided by Cloudflare Pages (or equivalent static hosting). Form delivery may use FormSubmit. Their processing is subject to their respective privacy terms.

Retention

Inquiry emails are retained as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business record-keeping, then deleted or archived according to our internal schedule. You may ask us to delete an inquiry record where we are not required to keep it.

To ask about data submitted through this site, use the contact form or email the address provided in our reply to your submission. Include enough detail for us to locate your message.
